today was....
Crazy, insane, out of control etc etc!
I had so many etsy requests, convos and orders! And I think tomorrow will be the same to finish up the orders that I'm still discussing with customers! SO EXCITING. But. I need to be careful because of a few things
(since I'm new to all this and have a lot of new viewers, I'll tell a little bit about myself)
1. I have two kids who (happily and deservingly) take up a lot of my time
2. I have a job - a 'real' job that i have to attend and work up to 30 hours a week at!
3. I can't seem to say no. well most of the time. so I need to be careful about all these orders coming in.
4. I'm saving up for a) new bada$$ lenses for my canon 20d (my 3rd baby) and a MAC laptop. I was told by my apple loving brother that I need to wait for the new MACS to come out this spring. so sigh. i wait.
5. I'm a MAC girl. I wasn't going to type this until I got to thinking about it after I wrote #4. I will always be a MAC girl. Never will I choose a PC over a MAC. EVER. Mark my words. You will learn someday, hopefully not the hard way.
6. Apparently I ramble. What is this post about? I don't even remember anymore.
7. I need to go to sleep. I want to wake up at 6 a.m. to make Valentine treats for all those that I love. :)

March Birthdays
So I've been kinda quiet over here, getting back to reality after an AMAZING family trip to Big Bear. My lil 4 year old went snowboarding for the first time - it was awesome!
Anyways, we have some big birthdays coming up over at my house. I've been busy planning, bargain shopping and scouring the internet for ideas!
My big almost 5 year old is having a Bowling Party and my Big almost 3 year old is having a 'ching' party - you know Lightening McQueen (ching) and Mater / Cars Movie Party.
The Bowling party will be super easy and hardly any decorations, so I will probably go all out on the invites... And the CARS Party will be an event, for sure. I just LOVE Cars myself so I am having fun prepping for it. :) Plus it'll be the babies first party by himself...well I don't count his 1st bday because he was sick and slept thru it. And last year he didn't know what was going on and shared the party. SO THIS year is his big boy party - all by himself!
Can't wait to show everyone!
Also coming up is St Patrick's Day. This is what I made last year for Patty's Day:

Ugh, what a weekend!
So let's rewind back to Friday night when I happily posted that I was making things for myself...
About 4 hours later I got hit with Food Poisioning (again! I'm VERY prone to it, I get it ALL the time)
The whole weekend was then a bust. BUT, I would not let the darn FP ruin my plans for making something for myself all together! So as I sat lethargic and pale in bed, I finished these two items:
(Funny enough, they are already sold to my friend who begged me for Valentine's Decorations for her mantle. So I'm already making more to sell on etsy (already listed) and another set for my mantle)

It's been a long time...
Since I have really taken the time and made something for myself. I mean sure, my cute Valentine Countdown is on my mantle ready for the 1st... but truly made something for me to enjoy.. and not sell.
So I am hard at work making something cute for my mantle. So excited!
